The last important thing you say.
The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. I found the work deeply compelling. It’s author was a successful college professor, married with three small children. Upon learning that his cancer is terminal with five months to live, he decides to give a last lecture at his college. The issue before him is what’s important enough to say. He decides to title his work ‘Childhood Dreams.’ This sweeps the reader up into some serious discussion.
What is important in life? He writes of the things that are important and universal to us all. His book is full of life’s lessons that worked for him, how to deal with his children and his wife. The last part of the book deals with things that worked for him. The book helped me to thing about some serious issues. I highly recommend the work, beautifully written.
