Little Food Pantry

Right Relations
Right Relations The name of the group is aspirational. We hope to grow in humility and courage and to find ways to work towards right relations with our neighbors through repentance, reparations, and relationships. We widen our knowledge in regard to the history and reality of racism, and support efforts of our Native American neighbors to restore usual and accustomed places for fishing, hunting, and gathering according to article 4 of the Treaty of Point No Point, 1855. Fair Trade
Fair Trade We sell a fantastic selection of Equal Exchange coffees, chocolate bars, cocoa and baking cocoa. Items are available in the church office which is open Monday through Friday 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The Fair Trade Ministry at Holy Trinity started in 1997. Purchases made through us, support farmers and their families. Our profits are returned to Lutheran World Relief Small Farmers Fund. Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is in the top 5% for sales in faith-based groups.
Chancel Choir
Chancel Choir Holy Trinity’s Chancel Choir rehearses weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm and leads the congregation in song at Sunday morning services September-June each year. The Chancel Choir sings as an intentional unit with a goal of achieving the most musical expression possible, singing choral music of all genres and styles from Distler to Fauré. All ages are welcome as this is an intergenerational ministry, and choir members are dedicated to rehearsal in pursuit of our highest capability.
Hymn Choosing Team
Hymn Choosing Team Holy Trinity’s Hymn Choosing Team helps plan the music for worship. The Team meets before liturgical seasons to research readings and devise a meaningful path through the singing year. With the guidance and wisdom of the pastors and music director in attendance at each meeting, individuals present which hymns and special singing they find meaningful and appropriate to the team, resulting in the creation of a thematic and musical arc to each service and throughout the season.
World Class Instruments
Bond Organ & Steinway Grand Piano Featured prominently in our space is the rebuild of a Balcom & Vaughan organ. It’s one of the most substantial organs on the peninsula, with 30 stops and 24 ranks (link to organ specs: http://www.bondorgans.com/holy-trinity-lutheran-church ). This bold instrument accompanies our congregation in song every Sunday and is a resource for several organ students on the Olympic Peninsula. Resident Chorale
Resident Chorale: North West Women’s Chorale Our resident choir is the North West Women’s Chorale, an auditioned chorale located on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State, directed by Joy Lingerfelt. Hand Bell Choir
Hand Bell Choir Holy Trinity’s Handbell Choir is a rotating group of individuals who meet to rehearse handbell choir music. Handbell ensembles require a strong dedication to attendance and teamwork, which results in a sense of camaraderie and reaffirmed social bonds. This group has premiered new handbell compositions and accepts all ages of players.
