Ministries

Ministries are an integral part of every church community. At Holy Trinity Lutheran Church we have various ministry opportunities that seek to strengthen personal relationships and inspire spiritual growth within our church community as we all lend helping hands to those who are in need outside our walls.

Lutherans proclaim God’s love and grace for all people. We seek to pour the love we first receive from God out into the world again.

We encourage everybody to be involved and take part in the mission of the church.

Little Food Pantry

He answered, “Whoever has two shirts must share with the one who has none, and whoever has food must do the same.” Luke 3:11 Holy Trinity has a little Food Pantry in our parking lot so that those who need food can get some here. It is accessible 24/7. If you need food, come and take it. If you can give food, put some non-perishable items into the pantry. Please do NOT leave trash, moldy produce, or anything you wouldn’t…

Right Relations

Right Relations The name of the group is aspirational. We hope to grow in humility and courage and to find ways to work towards right relations with our neighbors through repentance, reparations, and relationships. We widen our knowledge in regard to the history and reality of racism, and support efforts of our Native American neighbors to restore usual and accustomed places for fishing, hunting, and gathering according to article 4 of the Treaty of Point No Point, 1855. Rev. Kristin-Luana Baumann, also…

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir sings as an intentional unit with a goal of achieving the most musical expression possible, singing choral music of all genres and styles from Distler to Fauré. All ages are welcome as this is an intergenerational ministry, and choir members are dedicated to rehearsal in pursuit of our highest capability.

Hymn Choosing Team

Hymn Choosing Team Holy Trinity’s Hymn Choosing Team helps plan the music for worship. The Team meets before liturgical seasons to research readings and devise a meaningful path through the singing year. With the guidance and wisdom of the pastors and music director in attendance at each meeting, individuals present which hymns and special singing they find meaningful and appropriate to the team, resulting in the creation of a thematic and musical arc to each service and throughout the season.

Pollinator Pathway Project

Pollinator Pathway Project Our beautiful landscape has been broken up and fragmented through ubanization and suburbanization. Pollinator Pathways Pollinator Pathways are projects where many people work together to create, enhance, and establish continuous corridors of pollinator-friendly food sources and habitats for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinating insects and wildlife. Diversity and native plantings encourage our native pollinators. Some pollinators are small, weak fliers or they crawl and require continuous habitat, while others are stronger fliers and can travel longer distances between…
