Lent Quiet Morning

Please join for a morning of silence and contemplation in whatever way works in your life. We prepare our hearts and minds during Lent for the mighty acts of God which will unfold over Holy Week and Easter. A schedule will be created; participate or not in common prayer, a contemplative sit, lighting a candle for another person/prayer, lectio divina (holy reading). Or full silence which will be present in the sanctuary except for "scheduled" and optional activities. Lent meditation books will be available or bring something from home. Or your favorite novel and blanket for napping. Your knitting or journal. This time is for you; even silence is powerful community when experienced with others.
