Calling all Knitters and Crocheters
“Threads of Love” gathers in the Fireside Room at 1:00 p.m., on the third Wednesday of each month, to “offer our hands in service.” We continue creating prayer shawls for those who are ill, infirm, mourning, or in pain in our congregation. In addition, we will make hats, scarves, and mittens for homeless or low-income adults and children in our community and others in need of extra love, comfort and warmth!
If you have another idea for putting our time and talent to work through manipulating hooks, knitting needles, and string, just let us know. In our experience knitters and crocheters always welcome another excuse to take up their yarn!
Want to learn more about this ministry? Don’t knit or crochet? Please come to the meeting! If you feel called to reflect Christ’s love by creating gifts with yarn for those who need them, we can help you learn whatever technique appeals to you.
