Robin Smith: Habitat for Humanity in South Asia
Robin Smith is a Master Trainer of Leadership Academies for Habitat for Humanity Nepal, India, Philippines and Indonesia. She volunteers for Days For Girls, founding the Singapore team and delivering over 2000 menstrual care kits in India and currently sits on the India Days for Girls Board. Robin chaired the Asia Area Women’s Conference in Hong Kong 2017-2019.
While living and working in Asia Robin was inspired by strong women. Women of all ages who are leaders and teachers and struggle daily but still find joy in their lives. She learned that we can make a big difference in the world by doing little things.
Robin currently lives in Idaho on the Payette river and is packing her things to move to Sri Lanka (covid willing) where she will continue her work with developing sustainable communities. She is married to Roland B Smith and they have 4 grown children. Robin loves her job as a librarian at the Garden Valley Library and loves to make people laugh.
