Ministries

Ministries are an integral part of every church community.  At Holy Trinity Lutheran Church we have various ministry opportunities that seek to strengthen personal relationships, inspire spiritual growth, and live out Jesus’ command to love God and neighbor and care for creation.

We encourage everybody to be involved and participate in the church’s mission.

Preschool

Holy Trinity Preschool Our preschool offers small class size, Christian curriculum, music, creative arts, social skills, math, science, kindergarten readiness and early literacy. The Holy Trinity Lutheran Preschool curriculum is centered on Jesus who loves everyone unconditionally and forever. We encourage acceptance of all people, respect for our environment, and choosing kindness. Brenda Kennedy, and Angela Reynolds are our teachers. Threads of Love

Threads of Love is a ministry sharing the power of love through compassionate creativity, using knitting, crocheting, and other handwork to invite, involve, and serve people in our own community and around the world. How you can be involved:   Come to our monthly meetings. You don’t have to attend meetings to make and donate hand-made items. But we’d love to have you! Creation Care

Acknowledging the boundless gift of God’s grace and mercy we are called to new ways of living that will heal, restore, and bless. The Creation Care Ministry works to envision and embody some of these new ways in a time of rapid climate and social change.  We will address changes on the personal, congregational, and societal levels. Library

Whenever you read a good book, somewhere in the world a door opens to allow in more light.” The LIBRARY This library of more than 3500 volumes provides books and periodicals for adults and children to the congregation and community. It is intended to nurture Christian faith and life through information, inspiration and enjoyment. The collection includes not only resources on Lutheran theology, but also from other Christian traditions. We also collect books on many of the world religions. Faith Formation

Faith Formation is provided for children and for adults. Children For children Sunday School begins at age 2 and continues through the high school years. All children are welcome to participate. Sunday School follows the worship service and runs from 11:00 am to 11:45 am. Each class is taught by two members of the church congregation and roughly follows the public school year calendar. Parents are encouraged to attend an adult faith formation class while their children participate at the appropriate…

Lutheran World Relief Quilters

We make tied quilts that will be donated to Lutheran World Relief once per year. Join us to help assemble the quilts, or if you would like to sew quilt tops at home, squares will be provided. Contact the church office for more information.
