Vibrant Music for Worship

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church has a long and vibrant tradition as a venue for concerts and recitals. The congregation is also known for beautiful, spirit filled worship music. The Sanctuary has the best acoustics on the Olympic Peninsula and our Bond organ is famous throughout the Pacific Northwest.

The music program at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is a strong and active group made up of volunteers from the community of Port Angeles. Our program lifts up local musicians under professional leadership to create beautiful music and sing God’s praises both in our beautiful sanctuary or out in God’s creation. Options for musical involvement include among other ensembles Handbell Choir, Farm Church musicians, Chancel Choir and a Congregational Singing Team.

About Our Choir

We celebrate the gift of music through our Young Voices Children’s Choir and our Chancel Choir, as well as rehearsals and annual performances by The Northwest Women’s Chorale. We also have a long and vibrant tradition as a venue for concerts and recitals thanks to our sanctuary's excellent acoustics and beautiful Bond organ.

About Our Instruments

Featured prominently in our space is the rebuild of a Balcom & Vaughan organ. It’s one of the most substantial organs on the peninsula, with 30 stops and 24 ranks. This bold instrument accompanies our congregation in song every Sunday and is a resource for several organ students on the Olympic Peninsula.

We also have a 7'4" Steinway Grand Piano that has been lauded as "the best on the Peninsula," and a harpsichord belonging to the Port Angeles Symphony Orchestra, both of which are commonly utilized by the chamber music series on the Peninsula.

"Your grand is the best piano in the region."

– Ira Langlois RPT
